Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Our first day of the safari will start with a pick up from our hotel/apartment or airport by the company safari driver who is also our safari guide for the tour. He/she will give a briefing about the 5 Day Safari and thereafter we set off to Amboseli where we shall arrive in the afternoon, check in to our booked lodge, have lunch and relax. Later in the evening, we head out for an evening game drive to start the wildlife park exploration. This drive offers a chance to spot some of the animals of the park such as elephants, zebras, lions and many more. After the game drive, we’ll return to the lodge for dinner and the overnight. Day 2: Full day in Amboseli national park
We start off the day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge and set off for a game drive for a deeper exploration of Amboseli National Park. We shall get around the dusty plains to watch the animals here, look out for lions, hyenas and cheetahs among others. Elephants are a common sighting and they are often seen both on the dry land and the swampy areas of the park. In addition to wildlife, we’ll enjoy the epic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After hours of exploring, we shall either return to the lodge for lunch or have a picnic lunch (depending on the arrangement). Proceed with the game drive and drive back to the lodge in the evening. If we return to the lodge for lunch, we can choose to spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the tranquility and pretty views of the wilderness.
Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park
We shall have all our property packed, go for breakfast and check out of the lodge. Start the 6-7 hours journey to Tsavo East National Park. With an enroute lunch, we shall enjoy the scenic drive taking us through the beautiful countryside and arrive at the park in the late afternoon. Check in to our booked lodge and later head out for an evening game drive which will give us an opportunity to see animals like the cape buffaloes, elephants, giraffes and lions among others. Drive back to the lodge, have dinner and rest.
Day 4: Full day in Tsavo East National Park
Another exciting day to spend in the jungle; it will start with an early morning breakfast at the lodge, our lunch boxes packed and put in the vehicle. We set off for another game drive and this allows us to explore and see more of the park; more animals, visit Mzima springs to watch crocodiles and hippos, visit “Shetani” lava flows and take in the stunning views of the surrounding including Chuyu hills. This game drive is arranged with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon or evening, we’ll return to the lodge for some relaxation, plus meditating and looking through the gallery with moments captured during the tour so far.
Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi
This is our last day of the safari and it will start off with a morning breakfast at our lodge followed by checking out of the lodge and heading to Nairobi city. If there is a different location you want to be dropped off after the trip, simply agree with the company in advance and our safari driver will do the best. The safari ends with a drop off at the airport or hotel/apartment in Nairobi. End of Tour
